Megan Albers
Multimedia Specialist
Megan grew up in Idaho (no she wasn’t a potato farmer but she did eat lots of potatoes) and started her career in broadcasting when she was in high school. Her junior year she started running cameras for the 6 o'clock and 10 o'clock news at her local CBS affiliate making her the only woman in the operations department (girl power). She was directing the nightly news by the time she graduated high school. The operations director for one of the largest Christian Radio networks in the country came knocking and she took a little side step into the audio side of broadcast. Continuing her career in Christian Radio she moved 1,200 miles away to the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks to be a part of a radio network that almost covers the whole state of Missouri. With two years of television and 10 years of radio under her belt it was time to add more television experience, so she joined the team at Lake TV! She’s done everything from interviewing famous people, to adjusting transmitters and satellites, to graphic design and video editing, to sweeping off those satellites in a blizzard. If it’s related to broadcast she’s probably done it.

Daniel Carnahan

10 years. However, few know about the man behind Lake TV’s eyes in the sky. Daniel Carnahan has now been
the exclusive drone specialist for Lake TV for 10 years and has been responsible for drone featured inside
LOTO Shootout, LIVE Sports, The LOZ Featured Dock Series, Cup of Coffee, Monthly Market Update, and
ALL other Lake TV content, segments, and series.
Lake TV owner William Holtz first met Carnahan at the 2013 Polar Plunge, he recalled. “I remember when he
came up to me and offered to let Lake TV use video of his Polar Plunge drone in our coverage. He didn’t ask
for anything and was just kind of just a hobbyist at the time. The next year, I took him up on that offer and
featured his drone in our Polar Plunge coverage. Now 10 years later… he is OUR GUY and there is NO ONE
BETTER at his craft,” Holtz said.
Carnahan grew up at the Lake where he resides with his wife Tomara. They have 4 kids and 1 granddaughter, as
well as their beloved daughter in law. Carnahan had worked in different fields until a fall from a roof in 2010
led to a metal plate in his foot.
What started as a hobby had been blossoming as word got out about Carnahan and his drone. It was then he made the jump and went full-time with his business “Skyview Photography”
Besides working throughout the year with Lake TV, Carnahan and Skyview Photography are one of the premier
real estate videographers and drone operators in Missouri. In 2024 alone, Carnahan shot over 1,100 real estate
